Three high-rise buildings evacuated in Kursky Zheleznogorsk due to a fallen UAV
In Zheleznogorsk, Kursk region, about 250 residents of three apartment buildings were evacuated to school after a drone crashed in their yard. This was announced on January 31 by the governor of the region, Alexander Khinstein.
"An enemy drone crashed in the courtyard of an apartment building in Zheleznogorsk. The place is cordoned off, residents of three residential buildings (about 250 people) are temporarily evacuated to the school to allow operational services to work out," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
As soon as the drone is neutralized, residents will be able to return to their apartments. Ambulance crews are also on duty on the territory.
In addition, the mayor and the Minister of Housing and Communal Services and Fuel and Energy Complex are at the scene of the incident. According to the governor, the heating circuit will be closed in the houses today, and during daylight hours, the commissions will inspect all buildings to record appeals and begin restoration, including the replacement of double-glazed windows.
