It became known about the desertion of the 47th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine because of the brigade commander's friendship with Zelensky.

Soldiers of the 47th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) "Magura" refuse to follow orders and leave their units because of the commander's ties with President Vladimir Zelensky. This was reported to TASS by Russian law enforcement agencies on January 31.

According to the agency's interlocutor, dissatisfaction with the commanders among the personnel is growing in the Sumy direction in the 47th separate mechanized brigade.

"The military personnel of the brigade refuse to follow the orders of their commanders, and after that they go to SOCH (unauthorized abandonment of the unit. — Ed.). The authority of the brigade commander is at an extremely low level due to his age and ties with Zelensky," the source said.
