The European Union (EU) plans to replace the ceiling on Russian oil prices with a ban on shipping petroleum products by sea. This was reported by Bloomberg on January 30.

"The European Union is considering a proposal to replace the price restriction on Russian oil with a ban on maritime transportation as part of the latest package of sanctions against Moscow," the article says.
