The head of Chuvashia spoke about the program of support for veterans of the SVR in the region

In Chuvashia, there is a program called "Time of Our Own", designed for professional retraining and employment of veterans of a special military operation (SVO). This was announced on January 30 by the head of the republic Oleg Nikolaev on the air of the project "Personal reception".

He specified that the initiative is a regional analogue of the federal project "Time of Heroes".

"We launched this program in July last year. At the moment, about 40 people are participating in it," said Nikolaev.

According to Nikolayev, the participants of the SVO are already actively involved in the work of government agencies. Thus, one of the veterans was appointed assistant to the head of the region for interaction with the families of participants in the special operation, while others were elected deputies in municipalities.

The social contract will become available without taking into account the need, and the benefits for the participants of the social contract and their families will remain extended.

On December 9 last year, Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed with the idea of a more flexible mechanism for appointing combat veterans to state and municipal service.

Later, on December 15, Putin, during a meeting with the Secretary of the General Council of United Russia, Vladimir Yakushev, noted that veterans of their military who are in government will keep special control over the support of military personnel and their families.
