The United Arab Emirates dirhams (AED) can be considered a reliable but exotic currency that can serve as an additional investment tool, despite this, it should not be used as a substitute for the dollar. This was announced on January 30 by Egor Diashov, Chairman of the Financial Markets Commission of the IGO Opora Russia.
"The UAE Dirham (AED) is a reliable but exotic currency that can be used as an additional source of investment, but not as a complete or sole substitute for world reserve currencies (if we talk only about foreign exchange investment)," he explained to the Prime agency.
