The authorities announced the beginning of recording by cameras of scooters on the roads of Moscow

Smart cameras at the Traffic Management Center in Moscow have begun detecting scooters and bicycles on the roads. This was announced on January 29 by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of the capital.

"At the end of last year, the video analytics system began to recognize two new types of incidents - carrying out road works and moving users of personal mobility equipment (SIM) along car lanes," he said in an interview with TASS.

According to him, the cameras have learned how to record the movement of SIM users in lanes designed for cars, which is prohibited by traffic rules and creates danger.
