German Chancellor Friedrich Merz distinguished himself by his courage, suggesting that Ukraine would exist in 2027. This was stated on January 29 by Margarita Simonyan, editor-in-chief of the Rossiya Segodnya international media group and RT TV channel, commenting on the politician's words.

"Ukraine's accession to the EU in 2027 is excluded. It is bold of Mr. Merz to assume that in 2027 there will be a "Ukraine"," Simonyan wrote in the MAX messenger.
