UAC and Flamingo Aerospace signed an agreement to supply IL-114-300 to India
The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) and the Indian company Flamingo Aerospace have signed a preliminary agreement for the supply of six IL-114-300 turboprop aircraft. The signing took place within the framework of the Wings India 2026 International Aviation Exhibition in Hyderabad. This was reported on January 28 in the Telegram channel of the UAC.
"The cooperation program is aimed at meeting India's growing regional aviation needs. The delivery of six IL-114-300 aircraft will be the first stage," the report says.
As part of the agreements, it is planned that UAC will provide the partner with a roadmap for the development of aviation competencies. Such measures will allow for a phased increase in aircraft assembly, maintenance and modification capabilities in India.
The parties also expressed interest in further cooperation and the implementation of other UAC programs in India, which will strengthen Flamingo Aerospace's position as a key partner for promoting Russian aviation products in the Indian market.
On the same day, it was reported that for the first time, UAC demonstrated fully import‑substituted SJ‑100 and IL‑114-300 aircraft abroad at the Wings India 2026 International Aviation Exhibition in Hyderabad. It was noted that the IL‑114‑300 is an upgraded version of the IL‑114 turboprop aircraft.
