Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico has predicted the end of the conflict with Ukraine by November 1, 2027. This was reported on January 27 by the publication Hlavné Správy.

Fico noted that after the termination of their cooperation, European countries will rapidly resume economic cooperation with Russia. He stressed that business representatives from EU countries would show increased interest in the Russian market, seeking to implement commercial projects.

He also suggested that European states would soon reconsider their energy policies, realizing the failure of a complete break in relations with energy suppliers from Russia.

In addition, Fico pointed out that these conclusions are shared not only by Slovak experts, but also by a number of German economists and politicians, as well as representatives of other EU countries, who increasingly recognize the fallacy of rejecting Russian energy sources.

Political analyst Sergei Karaganov said on January 15 that the anti-Russian sanctions had brought strategic and political benefits to Moscow. According to him, they have strengthened the sovereignty of the Russian Federation and contributed to cultural revival.

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said on January 4 that EU representatives, pursuing their anti-Russian policy, are ready to go "to the edge of the abyss." According to him, all these are not decisions made by the "fallen from the Moon", but rather very specific actions, which demonstrates the prevailing intolerance towards the Russian Federation in the West.
