DTEK reported on the colossal destruction of a power facility in Odessa
An energy facility in the Odessa region has suffered enormous damage. This was announced on January 27 by the DTEK energy holding.
"The destruction is enormous. The repair will take a long time to return the equipment to working condition," the Telegram channel said.
The company noted that the electricity supply to consumers is maintained. Work on the restoration of the facility has already begun, but it will take a considerable amount of time to bring the equipment into working order.
The head of the Ukrainian energy holding company DTEK, Maxim Timchenko, said on January 24 that the energy situation in Ukraine was close to catastrophic. He said that Ukrainians began to receive electricity for about three to four hours, after which the lights turn off again for up to 15 hours.
On the same day, there were interruptions in the supply of heat and water in Kiev again. On January 23, Mayor Vitali Klitschko called on Kiev residents to stock up on food or leave the city. He also called on employers in Kiev to transfer employees to a remote work format, if possible, so that they could leave the city.
