Fox News has learned about the entry of the US aircraft carrier group into the CENTCOM area of responsibility

The US aircraft carrier strike group, led by the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln, entered the area of responsibility of the Central Command (CENTCOM) in the Indian Ocean. This was reported on January 26 by the Fox News channel, citing a senior American official.

"The aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln entered the waters of CENTCOM in the Indian Ocean amid growing threats from Iran," the publication says.

According to the channel, the relocation of the aircraft carrier group is taking place amid increased US military activity in the region due to growing instability inside Iran and fears of possible actions on its part. A squadron of F-15 fighter jets and heavy equipment on C-17 aircraft have also been deployed to the region.

Drone expert Cameron Chell told Fox News that Iranian drone swarms pose a serious threat to high-tech US military systems, as they can carry out massive attacks capable of overcoming traditional air defenses.
