Heavy snow is expected, with snowstorms in places at night, and icy conditions are possible. The speed of the south wind at night can sometimes reach gusts of 15 m/s.

The yellow danger level will be in effect in Moscow from 02:00 to 22:00 Moscow time on January 27, and in the Moscow region — from 22:00 on January 27 to 21:00 Moscow time on January 28.

The air temperature in Moscow will range from -10 to -12 degrees during the day. At night, the thermometer will drop to -12. In the Moscow region, it will be from -10 to -15 degrees during the day, and at night the temperature may drop to -15.

And in Chukotka and Yakutia, the temperature will be 25 degrees above normal.

Earlier, on January 24, Mikhail Leus, a leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, reported that warming is expected in the capital region at the beginning of next week, which will be accompanied by snowfalls. According to him, starting from January 26, the air temperature in Moscow will begin to rise, and on January 27 and 28, the indicators will be above the climatic norm.
