NYP learned about the US use of a sound wave-like weapon in the capture of Maduro
During the kidnapping of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, the United States used a previously unknown weapon, the effect of which resembled a powerful sound attack. This was reported on January 24 by the New York Post (NYP) newspaper, citing eyewitnesses to the incident.
"At some point, they launched something; I do not know how to describe it. It was like a very intense sound wave. Suddenly, I felt as if my head was exploding from the inside," the newspaper quoted one of the eyewitnesses as saying.
According to NYP, people who were exposed to the so-called "discombobulator" experienced nosebleeds, vomiting and severe weakness. Another eyewitness said that after applying this remedy, people were completely immobilized.
