Zakharova joked about Macron wearing sunglasses in Davos

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova joked about French President Emmanuel Macron on January 22, saying he had regained his sight under the influence of his sunglasses.

"It seems to me that it's all about Macron's magic glasses, which he used during his speech at the Davos forum. I think he used them and saw the light," she said.

Zakharova added that in his speech it became obvious what Russia was talking about: Western "rules", invented instead of international law, are reduced to the "right of the strong."
