The situation in the Belgorod region remains tense after the attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on January 20. This was announced on January 21 by the governor of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov in his Telegram channel.

According to him, experts will complete the mine clearance of the territory that has been shelled only today. Gladkov also noted that shortcomings had been identified in the work of the authorities.

"For example, following the results of January 9-10, we saw a malfunction in the 122 service, figured out the reasons, and took measures," the governor said.
