Ukrainian Armed Forces drones attacked Kuban and Adygea. What is known

The Krasnodar Territory and the Republic of Adygea were attacked by drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the night of January 21. At least 11 people were injured as a result of the strikes. Details can be found in the Izvestia article.

Attack on Takhtamukai district of Adygea

As a result of the attack, an apartment building and a parking lot with cars in the village of Novaya Adygea caught fire in Takhtamukai district of Adygea. As a result of the incident, 11 people were injured, nine of them were taken to the hospital. Two victims were transported to Krasnodar for treatment.

According to preliminary data, 15 cars were destroyed, and another 25 were damaged. An emergency regime has been introduced in the area.

The situation in the Krasnodar Territory

According to the governor of the Krasnodar Territory, Veniamin Kondratiev, the greatest damage in the region was recorded in the Seversky district. The wreckage of a UAV with a warhead fell near an apartment building in the village of Afipskoye, which has four entrances and 177 apartments. Residents were evacuated to ensure safety and mine clearance. A temporary accommodation facility was set up at the sports school of the village.

After the fragments of the drone fell, a fire broke out on the territory of the Afipsky oil refinery, but the fire was quickly extinguished. There were no casualties or damage to the infrastructure.

Also in the village of Afipsky, the wreckage of a drone fell next to a private house, and in the village of Lviv they damaged an outbuilding, as a result of which it caught fire. The fire was quickly extinguished.

In addition, two private houses in Primorsko-Akhtarsk were damaged.

Drone attack on Sochi

Sochi Mayor Andrey Proshunin said that the drone attack was reflected in the airspace above the city and the coastal waters. Small pieces of debris were found on Transportnaya Street. Emergency services immediately went to the site, no fires or damage to infrastructure facilities were found.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, 75 Ukrainian drones were shot down overnight over the regions of Russia. Of these, 45 drones were eliminated over the Krasnodar Territory, and seven more were shot down over the Black Sea.
