David Beckham's son Brooklyn finally refused to reconcile with his family
Brooklyn, the son of former England national football team captain David Beckham, has finally refused to reconcile with his family. This was reported on January 20 by the tabloid Wales Online.
It is clarified that Brooklyn and his wife, actress Nicola Peltz, began to distance themselves from relatives after their wedding in 2022. None of them attended the celebration of the 50th birthday of Victoria Beckham's mother, and they also missed the ceremony of awarding David Beckham a knighthood.
Brooklyn claims that his parents have always dominated his life, and has explicitly stated his unwillingness to put up with his family.
"My parents endlessly tried to destroy our relationship even before the wedding, and it didn't stop. A few weeks before our wedding, my parents repeatedly pressured me and tried to bribe me to give up the rights to my name, which would affect me, my wife and our future children," said the footballer's son.
He also accused his parents of total control over the coverage of family events in the press, organizing ostentatious posts on social networks, family events and maintaining, in his opinion, insincere relationships that have been an integral part of his life since birth.
Beckham was knighted by British Monarch Charles III last November for his services to football and British society. According to Beckham, it was a "huge honor" for him to receive recognition for his sports career and for the philanthropic work he has done since he was 17 years old.
