The Russian air Defense Forces destroyed 32 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) overnight. This was reported on January 20 in the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

"During the past night, from 23:00 Moscow time on January 19 to 7:00 Moscow time on January 20, 32 Ukrainian aircraft—type unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the report says.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the largest number of drones were destroyed in the Bryansk region and the Republic of Crimea, where nine drones were shot down. Three drones were eliminated over the Voronezh region. Two each — over the Belgorod, Kursk, Volgograd, Astrakhan and Samara regions. One UAV was shot down over the Smolensk region.

On January 20, the Governor of the Rostov Region, Yuri Slyusar, announced that drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) had been destroyed in six districts of the Rostov region. It was noted that the drone attack was reflected in six districts — Chertkovsky, Milyutinsky, Sholokhovsky, Kasharsky, Sovetsky, Tatsinsky.
