Rosobrnadzor has set minimum scores for the Unified State Exam 2026
To obtain a certificate in 2026, Russian schoolchildren must score at least 24 points in the Russian language and satisfactorily (three points) in basic mathematics. This became known on January 20 from a Rosobrnadzor document.
To confirm the mastery of the educational program in physics, chemistry and biology, 36 points will be required, 27 points in mathematics, 40 points in computer science, 42 points in social studies, 32 points in literature, 37 points in geography and 22 points in foreign languages.
According to RIA Novosti, the unified state exams will begin on June 1 with history, literature and chemistry. Russian will be taken on June 4, mathematics on June 8, and biology, geography— and foreign languages on June 15. The oral part of foreign languages and computer science is scheduled for June 18 and 19.
Earlier, on January 16, it was reported that the Public Chamber proposed to introduce a unified state exam for university and college students. The initiative provides for testing in compulsory subjects to assess the basic level of training and strengthen control over the quality of education.
