The Moscow Higher School of Social and Economic Sciences (Shaninka) has filed a lawsuit with the Moscow Arbitration Court against Rosobrnadzor, demanding the cancellation of the license suspension order. This became known on January 20 from the materials of the court.

According to RIA Novosti, the Arbitration Court of the city of Moscow accepted the relevant application for consideration.

In the lawsuit, the school requests that certain sub-paragraphs of the unscheduled inspection act be declared illegal and that the license suspension order be revoked, arguing that the violations have been eliminated or do not meet the grounds for suspension.

Earlier, on December 23, it was reported that the license of "Shaninka" was completely suspended. Rosobrnadzor's decision prohibited the university from recruiting new students and conducting the educational process.

Prior to that, on November 18, the agency revoked the accreditation of several programs, including "Sociology", "Management" and "Psychology", which became the basis for the current legal dispute.
