Europe should focus on the Ukrainian conflict, not on Greenland. This was announced on January 19 by US President Donald Trump.
"Europe should focus on the <conflict> with <...> Ukraine, because, frankly, you see what this has led to <...> That's what Europe should focus on, not Greenland," NBC News quoted him as saying.
The American leader also refused to comment on his willingness to resort to a forceful seizure of the island. In addition, the head of the White House stressed his full determination to impose duties against European countries if a deal on Greenland is not reached.
