The Central Bank proposed to ban the production of items similar to Russian banknotes

The Bank of Russia proposes to establish a ban on the manufacture and sale of items that resemble real banknotes. This is stated in a document on the official website of the Central Bank.

According to the proposal of the Central Bank, items that resemble banknotes and coins of the Bank of Russia, including in size, will be banned. It is proposed to establish administrative responsibility for these offenses.

Currently, the regulator's proposals are being considered by interested ministries and departments.
