Figure skaters Valieva and Trusova will take part in the jumping championship

Figure skater Alexandra Ignatova (before Trusov's marriage) will take part in the Russian Jumping Championship. This was announced on January 19 by the press service of the Russian Figure Skating Federation.

The competition will be held on January 31 — February 1 in Moscow. Kamila Valieva was also included in the preliminary list of the tournament. Among the men on the list are Makar Ignatov, Mark Kondratyuk, Vladislav Dikidzhi, Andrey Mozalev, Evgeny Semenenko and Artur Danielyan.

Alexandra Ignatova, 21, is a silver medalist at the 2022 Olympic Games, a bronze medalist at the 2021 World Championships, and a medalist at the European Championships.

The day before, Valieva announced that she would compete at the Russian Jumping Championships and the Channel One Cup. Later, Honored coach of the USSR Tatiana Tarasova said that Valieva could show a lot in the upcoming competitions.
