Blogger Karina Stern has died at the age of 23 after three years of battling an aggressive form of cancer. This was announced on January 19 by her father Mikhail.

"Despite the diagnosis, she charged everyone and everything around her with her energy and positivity. She was the spark for many, during these three years of struggle she lived a very bright and eventful life, which many do not even dream of, fulfilled her childhood dreams," he wrote on Instagram (owned by Meta Corporation, recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).

According to her father, Stern was diagnosed with alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma. After several months of remission, the disease returned.

Death occurred on January 18. The farewell to the blogger will take place in Barnaul, the date of the funeral is still unknown.
