The weather forecaster named the dates of the frost peak in Central Russia
The peak of frost in Central Russia is expected on the weekend of January 17-18. This was announced on January 16 by Evgeny Tishkovets, a leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, in his Telegram channel.
The forecaster noted that frosts of up to -25 degrees are already being recorded in a number of regions of Central Russia, and in some places the temperature is approaching 30 degrees below zero.
According to him, on Friday, January 16, under the influence of an anticyclone, the temperature in the west of the East European Plain will be 7-12 degrees below the climatic norm of midwinter.
"During the day, the temperature readings in most regions will range from -10...-15," the forecaster said.
On the same day, Yandex Weather analysts reported that a cold snap was expected for Muscovites on the weekend of January 17 and 18. Possible clarifications on Saturday, and Sunday will be cloudy.
