Hacker recognized fake messages about hacking MAX
An anonymous hacker who claimed to have hacked the national messenger MAX denied his words and said that the information about the data compromise was false. He wrote about this in his post on one of the forums on the Darknet.
"I would like to clarify that my previous post regarding the database was incorrect; there is no such database. Our further investigation of other potential critical vulnerabilities yielded no results. There was no large-scale hacking. I continue to follow the developments in the MAX messenger with great respect and interest," he wrote.
Later, the hacker noted that he was surprised by the violent reaction of Telegram channels that spread information about the alleged hacking. According to him, the mention in the initial message of the possibility of remote code execution, allowing arbitrary commands to be run on the target system without physical access, "should have been a clear sign that this is fake."
The press service of the MAX platform confirmed the authenticity of the message published on the darknet and stressed that the information about the alleged hacking of the messenger is not true.
