According to the results of the indexation, scheduled for April 2026, the average social pension in Russia will reach approximately 16.5 thousand rubles. This was announced on January 15 by the deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on the Budget from the Liberal Democratic Party, Kaplan Panes.

"In budget calculations, the average amount after the April increase is indicated at 16,590 rubles. For reference: the old—age and disability social pension of group II after the increase is 9424.12 rubles," Panesh said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
