- More than 70 thousand residents of the Bryansk region were left without electricity due to the attacks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces
Over 70,000 residents of the Bryansk region were left with power outages after a missile attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on January 14 by the governor of the region, Alexander Bogomaz.
According to him, the Ukrainian Armed Forces' strike was aimed at municipal and energy infrastructure facilities. The Klintsovskaya thermal power plant and the Naitopovichi electrical substation were damaged.
"More than 70,000 people in two municipalities have experienced power outages," the report says.
Emergency crews are currently working at the facilities, and restoration measures are being carried out.
Emergency recovery work is underway at the scene. All necessary measures are being taken to provide assistance. As Bogomaz noted, the situation is under control.
On January 12, Vyacheslav Gladkov, Governor of the Belgorod Region, reported that an extremely difficult power supply situation had developed in the region against the background of regular shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Funds from the region, commercial enterprises, and the federal center were attracted to solve the problem.
