A patient at a maternity hospital in Novokuznetsk spoke about the doctors' explanations of the deaths of children

In the Novokuznetsk maternity hospital No. 1, where nine babies died during the New Year holidays, cases of disability and deaths had previously been repeatedly attributed to infections in newborns. Anastasia Golikova, who gave birth to a child with a disability in this institution in 2022, told about this on January 13.

"It was diagnosed that he (the child. — Ed.) An intrauterine infection has also been detected. And everything was attributed to this infection, that, allegedly, the whole reason for this was only this infection, but the doctors acted correctly, and nothing depended on them in this situation. <...> Then I started hearing a lot of stories similar to mine: there are deaths somewhere, and there are disabilities like ours. <...> Everyone is usually diagnosed with an infection. Everyone has a certain infection," she said in an interview with TASS.
