Employees of the Federal Security Service (FSB) have detained a 17-year-old resident of Mariupol, suspected of passing information to Ukrainian military intelligence. Footage of the January 13 detention was distributed by the FSB Public Relations Center.

"I was in the village. On the territory of the city, on the outskirts, there were all private houses smashed. There were a couple of houses and green cars. I thought it was some kind of military camp," the detainee said.

According to the teenager, he took a photo of this object and sent it to an employee of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine. In addition, the detainee admitted that he was subscribed to a number of Ukrainian Telegram channels and used the GUR chatbot, through which he filled out a questionnaire.

A criminal case was opened into the incident under Article 275 of the Criminal Code ("High treason").
