A massive brawl involving dozens of people occurred at the end of one of the duels at the championship of the North Caucasian Federal District in freestyle wrestling in Grozny. This was reported on January 12 by local Telegram channels.

A conflict broke out between athletes David Vaniev from North Ossetia and Turpal Alkhoev from Chechnya.

According to eyewitnesses, after Vaniev's victory, Alkhoev kicked him several times, after which the spectators joined the athletes. The fight that broke out, according to witnesses, was quickly stopped.
