The Russian Defense Ministry announced strikes on Ukrainian airfields.
The Russian Armed Forces have attacked a number of military facilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), including airfields, enterprises for the production of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and warehouses with them. This was announced on January 12 by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
"Energy and transport infrastructure facilities involved in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, military airfields, an enterprise for the production and storage of long-range unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as temporary locations of Ukrainian armed forces and foreign mercenaries in 157 districts were damaged," the ministry said.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the fire damage was carried out using aircraft, attack drones, rocket troops and artillery of Russian military personnel.
Earlier in the day, it was also reported that the Russian military had destroyed two combat groups of the National Guard of Ukraine near the village of Vesyoloye in the Kharkiv region. In addition, over the past 24 hours, up to 200 militants, three armored combat vehicles, 15 vehicles and four ammunition depots have been hit.
