The moment of the arrest of a man preparing to blow up a bridge in the Perm Region was captured on video

The FSB's Public Relations Center showed footage of the arrest of a man who, under the influence of fraudsters, was preparing a terrorist attack on a railway bridge in the Perm Region.

The footage captures the moment of the arrest and the inspection of the man's house. At his residential address, FSB officers found 10 kg of explosives, components for making explosive devices, as well as a webcam designed to monitor the railway bridge.

A criminal case was opened under Part 1 of Article 222.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Illegal trafficking in explosives or explosive devices"). According to the totality of the crimes committed, the attacker faces punishment up to life imprisonment.

On December 30, the FSB Central Control Center reported on the disruption of an attempt by the Ukrainian special services to undermine a section of the gas distribution system in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic.
