Russian Armed Forces destroyed three Ukrainian combat groups in Kharkiv region

Russian military personnel have eliminated two combat groups of the National Guard of Ukraine near the village of Veseloe, Kharkiv region. This was reported on January 12 in the law enforcement agencies.

"A complex fire attack disrupted an attempt to move two combat groups of the 13th operational brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine in pickups from the Vesyoly area, both were destroyed," RIA Novosti was told by the security forces.

In addition, in the same direction, Russian fighters struck an assault group of the 58th separate motorized infantry Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) near the village of Liman.

It is specified that the military operations in this area are conducted by the Zapad group of troops. Over the past 24 hours, the enemy has suffered significant losses — up to 200 militants, as well as three armored combat vehicles, 15 vehicles and four ammunition depots.

On January 12, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that artillery crews of the Russian North group of forces had hit over 110 enemy targets in Sumy and Kharkiv regions over the past week.
