Trump has reposted his AI image of smoking a Cuban cigar

On January 11, US President Donald Trump posted on the Truth Social social network an image created with the help of artificial intelligence (AI), in which he smokes a Cuban cigar.

The national flag of Cuba is flying in the background of the picture, and the inscription on the image reads: "The best Cuban cigars in the world."

On the same day, Trump announced that oil and money would no longer be sent to Cuba. He noted that for many years the country had been living off the huge amounts of oil and money coming to the island from Venezuela, and in return provided "security services" to former Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez and the abducted head of the republic, Nicolas Maduro. The American leader also spoke positively about the idea of appointing United States Secretary of State Marco Rubio as President of Cuba.

Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel, in turn, on January 11 declared the country's readiness to defend its sovereignty in response to external pressure from the United States. According to him, those who accuse Havana of economic difficulties should recognize that these problems are the result of sanctions that Washington has been "imposing" on the country for decades.
