The head of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation, Alexander Bastrykin, instructed to open a criminal case into the desecration of a Plaque with portraits of veterans in Yeysk, Krasnodar Territory. This was announced on January 11 by the press service of the department.
According to the statement, unknown persons in Yeysk poured an unknown liquid on a Plaque of Honor, which houses portraits of veterans of the Great Patriotic War and Heroes of Russia.
"Bastrykin instructed Andrey Konstantinovich Maslov, head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Krasnodar Territory, to open a criminal case and submit a report on the preliminary and final results of his investigation," RIA Novosti quoted the text of the message.
The Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Yeisk district in its Telegram channel announced the beginning of a procedural check on this fact.
