"In the period from 16:00 Moscow time to 20:00 Moscow time, 10 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles of an airplane type were destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the department's Telegram channel said.

It is specified that three drones were destroyed in the sky over the Belgorod region, two each over the Kursk and Voronezh regions, and one each over the Rostov and Bryansk regions. According to the ministry, one UAV was also shot down over the territory of the Republic of Dagestan.

Earlier in the day, the Ministry of Defense reported that the air defense forces shot down 33 Ukrainian UAVs over Russian territory in seven hours. It was noted that 10 drones were neutralized over the Rostov region, seven over the Caspian Sea, four drones were destroyed over the Volgograd and Astrakhan regions, three over Kalmykia and Krasnodar Territory, and two more UAVs were shot down over the Belgorod region.
