Starting from January 1, 2026, parents' insurance experience will include periods of care for each child under the age of one and a half years without any restrictions. This was announced on January 9 by Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin.
"Now the insurance record of parents will include periods of care for each child under the age of 1.5 years — without any restrictions. Previously, a mom or dad on maternity leave was counted for a total of no more than six years. Which was equal to the time of caring for four children," he wrote on the Telegram channel.
