In the Lviv region in western Ukraine, a critical infrastructure facility has been damaged. This was announced on January 9 by the head of the regional military administration Maxim Kozitsky in his Telegram channel.

Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi said in his Telegram channel that a fire had occurred at one of the facilities and was being extinguished.

An air alert was in effect throughout Ukraine.
