Trump called the Senate's ban on the use of the army in Venezuela unconstitutional.
On January 8, US President Donald Trump called the Senate resolution demanding not to use force against Venezuela without Congressional approval unconstitutional.
"The law on military Powers is unconstitutional, completely violating article II of the Constitution, as all presidents and their justice ministries have decided before me. Nevertheless, a more important vote on this issue will take place in the Senate next week," he wrote on his page on the Truth Social network.
