The head of the Grayvoronsky district of the Belgorod region was injured in an attack by an APU drone

Dmitry Pankov, the head of the Grayvoronsky district of the Belgorod region, was injured in a drone strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). He is in a medical facility in a moderate condition. This was announced on January 8 by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.

"In the village of Golovkino, a drone hit a commercial facility. The head of the district, Dmitry Alexandrovich Pankov, went to the site to assess the consequences of the attack. At that moment, another enemy drone attacked the facility again," Gladkov wrote on his Telegram channel.

It is specified that during the second strike, Pankov helped a woman whose car was damaged in the first attack. Currently, the man has been taken to the hospital with a closed craniocerebral injury and shrapnel wounds.
