More than 70 UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine attempted to fly through the Kherson region

On the night of January 7-8, more than 70 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) attempted to fly through the Kherson region. This was announced on January 8 by the governor of the region, Vladimir Saldo.

"Last night, the enemy attempted a massive flight of UAVs — more than 70 aircraft—type attack drones — through the Kherson region," he wrote on the Telegram channel.

According to the governor, the air defense forces repelled an attack by Ukrainian drones, 18 of which were shot down over the Kherson region. The rest were destroyed by the air defenses of other regions.
