The State Duma announced initiatives to improve migration policy
The State Duma has announced a package of legislative initiatives aimed at improving Russia's migration policy. This was announced on January 8 by Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin.
"We are preparing to introduce a number of legislative initiatives aimed at improving migration policy. To reduce the mandatory period of medical examination from 90 to 30 days for all foreign citizens who have arrived in our country for a period of more than three months," he wrote in his Telegram channel.
According to the proposals, medical organizations will be required to send information about issued conclusions to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, and data on identified infectious diseases in migrants to Rospotrebnadzor.
