On January 7, the Governor of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo, signed a decree prohibiting the holding of organized festive events (corporate parties) in public catering establishments if the number of participants exceeds 10 people.

"In accordance with it, it is prohibited to hold organized festive events (corporate parties) in catering establishments with a population of more than 10 people," wrote Baldo in his Telegram channel.

The measure, as Baldo explained, was taken in order to ensure the safety of residents under martial law and the continuing terrorist threat. The decree comes into force immediately.

The governor called it a forced but necessary decision to minimize risks during a special military operation and asked residents and heads of organizations to treat it with understanding.

On January 5, Baldo reported that security measures would be strengthened in the Kherson region after the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked a cafe and a hotel in the village of Khorly. He also noted that gatherings of civilians are no less threatened than military installations.

On January 1, the governor spoke about the strike of three UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on a cafe and a hotel in the village of Khorly, Kalanchak municipal district. A criminal case on the terrorist attack was opened on the fact of the incident.

On January 4, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reported that the number of victims of the Ukrainian Armed Forces strike on a cafe and a hotel in the village of Khorly increased to 29 people. At least 60 people were injured.
