The Federal Air Transport Agency classified the helicopter crash in the Kama region as a disaster. This was announced on January 7 by the representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency Artem Korenyako.

"The Federal Air Transport Agency classified the event as a disaster. The Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC), with the participation of the Volga Federal Aviation Administration, will investigate its causes," he wrote on the Telegram channel.

The helicopter crash in the Perm Region became known earlier that day. It was clarified that the incident occurred on the territory of the Ashatli Park recreation center in the Bardym municipal district. Two people were killed in the crash.

According to the Izvestia source, the helicopter was making an unauthorized flight in the area of the Ashatli Park recreation center. Later, the source clarified that Ilyas Gimadutdinov, an ex-deputy and owner of the Tattranscom transport company, died in a plane crash in the Perm Region.
