Russian tennis player Andrey Rublev defeated Chinese Wu Yibing in the second round of the ATP 250 tournament in Hong Kong on January 7 and reached the quarterfinals.

In the next round, Rublev, seeded number three at the tournament, will face Portuguese tennis player Nuno Borges, who is eighth.

Rublev is ranked 16th in the ATP world rankings and is the current champion of the Hong Kong tournament.
