After the conclusion of a possible truce, German soldiers may be sent to Ukraine, but they definitely should not be conscripts. This was stated on January 6 by the chairman of the Christian Social Union (CSU) Markus Zeder at a meeting of the CSU land group in the Bundestag. which took place in Bavaria.

"As for the issue of the deployment of German soldiers in Ukraine, I want to make it absolutely clear: under no circumstances should conscripts be deployed there. That would be the wrong approach," the politician said.

According to him, German soldiers can be sent to Ukraine only after the refugees return there.
