In 2027, there will be no retirement in Russia for the last time.
In Russia, 2027 will be the last year when there will be no new age pensioners on a general basis, which is associated with the final stage of pension reforms in the country. This was announced on January 5 by Evgeny Masharov, a member of the commission of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation for the public examination of draft laws and other regulations.
"The federal law defines the period of transition to the new retirement age in Russia. According to this law, the transition period will last 10 years — from 2019 to 2028. Starting in 2023, the retirement age increases by one year annually, which is why no one retires in 2025 or 2027," he explained in an interview with TASS.
