On Sunday, January 4, about 200 people came out for a peaceful demonstration in the center of Bern in Switzerland to protest against US interference in Venezuela's affairs. This was reported on January 4 by Swissinfo.

"About 200 people demonstrated in Bern against the US intervention in Venezuela. They called for "immediate condemnation of this aggression, contrary to international law," the article says.

It is specified that the participants of the march carried posters with the slogans "Terror [of the head of the White House Donald] Trump" and "Yankees, get out of Latin America," and chanted "Long live international solidarity!" The organizers of the action noted that the purpose of the demonstration is to draw attention to the desire of the United States to control Venezuelan oil and strengthen its geopolitical power in the region, as well as to counter interference in the affairs of sovereign states.

The rally was held under the slogan "Hands off Venezuela." More than a dozen organizations, including the Swiss Labor Party, the local Communist youth movement, and the Swiss-Cuban Association, supported the demonstration.

On January 3, Trump announced that the United States had successfully launched a large-scale strike against Venezuela. He noted that Venezuelan President Maduro and his wife Celia Flores were captured and taken out of the territory of the state.

The American leader later stated that there was extensive evidence of Maduro's alleged crimes. So, the president of Venezuela, according to his information, personally supervised the activities of the Cartel de los Soles (cartel of the suns), which transported drugs to the United States.

Rallies have begun in New York against the backdrop of the start of the US military operation in Venezuela and the detention of Maduro. The footage shows local residents waving Venezuelan flags.
