Children's ombudsman called for strengthening measures to prevent domestic violence

Preventive measures to prevent domestic violence need to be analyzed and strengthened after the murder of an eight-year-old boy and a six-year-old girl in Ust-Ilimsk. This was announced on January 4 by Tatyana Afanasyeva, Commissioner for Children's Rights in the Irkutsk Region.

"A total analysis of the prevention system is required to develop solutions. This crime confirms: hidden family problems are one of the most dangerous threats that we must learn to work with," she wrote on her Telegram channel.
